Mini Newborn Photoshoot in Edinburgh will allow you to still have some gorgeous portraits of your baby at their tiniest, without investing in a full newborn session.
Suitable for babies up to 8/10 weeks old, mini newborn session:

Choose from baby only – wrapped in a prop, or family option which will feature a mix of images of parents and/or siblings with baby.
During the mini session we will follow your baby’s rhythm and photograph your baby awake or asleep as long as they are calm and settled.
I will swaddle your baby beautifully or photograph them in a simple white onesie and we will focus on creating 5 beautiful portraits for you.
Simple white backdrop and natural posing means your images will forever remain classic and timeless.
Mini newborn session is truly a wonderful way to capture a few key portraits of this exciting time in your life!
HOW IT WORKS
Newborn mini photoshoots take place in my home studio just outside Edinburgh and last up to 1 hour. Here’s what to expect:
Step One: Booking and Consultation
Get in touch to request availability, choose a time that suits you best and pay your session fee. Upon booking we will arrange a phone consultation to plan your session.
Step Two: Your mini photography session
Show up for your dedicated time slot and spend some lovely time in my home studio, where I will capture beautiful portraits of your baby.
Step Three: Zoom viewing appointment
Within a week from your session we will schedule a video call where I will show you your beautiful portraits. Choose five of your favourites or upgrade to have more. Options include prints and wall art too, so you can proudly display your images!
Step Four: Delivery
Your digital portraits will be ready to download on the day of your viewing and prints/wall art a couple of weeks after that.

How is a Mini newborn photography session different from the
Full newborn photography session?
During the mini newborn session we work with your baby as they are – as long as they are calm, I will swaddle and photograph them. We don’t need to wait until they fall asleep!
Taking only 45min-1h, a mini session allows you to have a few key portraits that we will specifically shoot for.
Less variety of images to choose from than from the full newborn session.
No posing table images are included, choose a full newborn session if you love the look of them! These poses are only possible with a a baby who is deeply asleep, which requires more time.
Wrapped only images, no naked/semi naked poses. We can either bundle wrap your baby or leave hands/feet visible, depending on their flexibility and mood!
No intricate posing such as on the tummy as this requires a deeply asleep baby.
Zoom viewing instead of an in person viewing appointment, saving time for all of us.
Mini session is cheaper than a full newborn photoshoot due to the reasons stated above.
