Mum and baby photography in Edinburgh and Midlothian will capture the unique bond between you and your little one. Resulting portraits will be full of emotion and will forever remind you of the special connection that you share. Breastfeeding photoshoots are also available.
You and your little one have shared a very special connection since before your baby was born and your journey together as mother and child will bring so many future moments of joy, tears, challenges and happiness. But right now, you’re still at the beginning of it all – your baby is small enough to curl up in your arms, to be cradled, nursed and cuddled.
My goal is to capture your beautiful bond and loving connection in the most natural way. Together we will create gorgeous, timeless portraits that will mean so much to both of you in years to come.
Breastfeeding can be a little or a big part of a mum and baby photography session. It’s beautiful and intimate and the comfort, food, protection and love that nursing mamas provide needs to be celebrated!
During the photoshoot I will gently direct you towards the most flattering light and do my best to make you feel comfortable and relaxed – you will soon forget that I’m even there and that’s when I will capture the most beautiful, natural portraits.
Karolina was very easy to work with. My baby and I enjoyed the experience and I was very happy with the results, getting a good range of lovely shots with some beautiful colour tones as well as black and white pictures. Overall I would recommend her services as a photographer.
Karolina created stunning images of me and my baby boy. They are beautiful and natural and all I had to do was be with my baby and she captured moments that I can treasure forever. She made me feel very relaxed and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I would highly recommend Karolina!
Mummy and Me photography sessions take place outdoors during the warmer months of the year – we are blessed with such a variety of natural settings around Edinburgh and across the Lothians.
The flower meadows, woodlands, rivers and beaches are perfect for that romantic fairy tale look. But there is also beauty in urban scenery, so if the city centre is where you feel at home – let’s photograph you there.
A dedicated time for us to get to know each other and learn about your dreams, expectations and to plan your perfect session.
Simply show up, sit back with a cuppa and watch me create beautiful, timeless portraits of the most special people in your life.
The most exciting part is seeing your portraits and designing something special –
from beautiful wall art to smaller displays, albums and prints.
I will personally deliver your high quality products, all that’s left to do is to hang your wall art and admire your portraits every single day.
To secure your newborn photoshoot, a non refundable £59 session fee is payable at the time of booking. This covers your consultation, time in the studio and viewing appointment. After seeing your portraits, choose one of the collections displayed below,
payment for this is due on the day you see your portraits (payment plans are available).
Please note, if you don’t love your portraits, you are under no obligation to purchase anything.
There really is hardly anything more special than a bond that a mother shares with her child. The way you connect, the nurture, comfort and nourishment your body provides to them, the connection that no one else knows the depths of, which is why it deserves to be cherished, celebrated and preserved in beautiful photographs.
Time goes by, life keeps going, children grow. The way you feel in the special moments of connection with your little one right now, the way they curl up to you and depend on you will soon change to ‘Stop embarrassing me mum!’ and ‘No, I don’t want cuddles!’. But I can help you remember and make time stand still right now, in beautiful, heartfelt portraits you will treasure for many years to come.
This one is as simple as that. I don’t know anyone who regrets having a professional mummy and me/breastfeeding photography session, but I know of too many people who regret not organising it.
