Sitter baby photoshoots take place in my home studio near Edinburgh and these are very exciting sessions, where everyone from baby to photographer to parents are actively involved and have lots of fun! Taking only up to an hour and specifically recommended for babies between 4 – 10 months and ideally when they can sit up unaided, because this gives you a wider variety of portraits. It’s an important next milestone to celebrate after a newborn photoshoot, or perfect if you missed out on those tiny baby photos. a
Sitter baby photography sessions are entirely baby led and will simply capture their unique curiosity, laughter and that special way they play with their toes and respond to daddy’s singing!
You can expect a variety of timeless portraits that will brighten up your home which would include toe grabbing, sitting, rolling and laughing and certainly close-ups of their gorgeous smiley face.

We all take countless photos of our children on our phones to capture everyday moments, however these can’t replace quality professional portraiture, created in a custom prepared environment that is suitable for proudly displaying on your walls and in heirloom albums.
Your baby is well past the newborn stage, but they are still far away from being a toddler. The time seems to be flying by at this transitional stage with every day filled with new experiences, skills and abilities. When they seem so grown up but at the same time so little, you can’t miss out on capturing this!
This one is as simple as that. I don’t know anyone who regrets having a professional sitter milestone photography session but I know of too many people who regret not organising it.
